Our Story
Our Story
Happy and Bilingual Foundation was founded by Tanisha Colquhoun, who is the owner and director of Happy and Bilingual School, a language school. During her college years she worked as a missionary locally and overseas with various organizations. She spent almost every summer of her college years working at an inner-city Christian Sports Camp working with inner-city youth.
Starting a foundation with a global mindset to benefit children in low income areas has been a life long dream of hers. It was important to her that Happy and Bilingual Foundation would benefit children in the United States and around the world no matter their race, color, culture, language or creed. Diversity is at the core of this organization - starting with its ideals and extending to its members, its volunteers and to its beneficiaries.
